Welcome to the January Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop! We are sharing projects from the Occasions Catalog, and/or Saleabration product offerings.
For my project today, I made a little Valentine treat. I used the Dragonfly Dreams Bundle (stamp set and coordinating framelits) and the Sending Love Designers Series Paper Stack - purchasing these two products qualifies you for a Saleabration product of your choice for free!
Here's how this project goes together- (measurements at the end of this post) I used five yummy chocolate bars and wrapped them in the Sending Love Designer Series Paper - and then created a belly band to hold the chocolate bars together. The red and white ribbon is from the Sending Love Ribbon Combo pack.
I created the tag with Whisper White cardstock and the Scalloped Tag Topper punch. I stamped the bee onto the Whisper White tag and also stamped a second bee on a small piece of Whisper White cardstock - and cut it out with the framelits and my Big Shot. I attached this over the bee on the tag with a dimensional, folding it slightly in the middle to create some dimension on the wings.
I used a stamp from Timeless Textures and Real Red ink to add some splotches to the tag. The Labeler Alphabet was exactly what I needed to stamp the word 'Mine." Love this alphabet set!
To finish I just added a thin strip of the designer paper and a small glimmer heart. This would be a quick and easy project to make for your valentines! And who doesn't love a little chocolate?
Measurements for this project:
Designer Paper Wrap for the Candy Bars - 4 1/4" x 5 3/4" (depends on what size candy bars you are using)
Belly Band: Cut two 1" x 6" strips and adhere together - wrap and trim to fit.
Tag: 2" x 3" Whisper White Cardstock
