Hot ! Hot ! Hot! Stampers Dozen Blog Hop

Hot! Hot! Hot!  Everyone that knows me, knows that I am a snow girl - I love the snow and cold!

But yes, I also enjoy the sunshine, and I am thankful that living in Ohio we get to experience all kinds of weather!

When I thought about our theme for this month's blog hop, I thought about a hot, hot summer day and how refreshing a nice cold drink can be - and the set Happy Hour came to mind!

This is a fun set and includes some great greetings!

My card base is Daffodil Delight cardstock (4 1/4 x 11inches) and layered on that is a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock (4 x 5 1/4 inches).

The sunshine image is from a new set in the catalog called Kinda Eclectic - and has become one of my favorite new sets!  This is stamped in Daffodil Delight Ink.

My focal point was created with several stamps from the Happy Hour set - and I used Stampin' Write Markers to color them.  These were then stamped onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock and layered onto a piece of Tempting Turquoise cardstock.

The olive, strawberry and umbrella were stamped and then snipped out with my trusty paper snips and popped up with a bit of a stampin' dimensional!  These snips are the best for cutting anything - they are very, very sharp, clear to the end of the blade.

The greeting was stamped with Tempting Turquoise ink and punched out with the Modern Label Punch.

Listed below are all the supplies used in this card, for your convenience!

Thanks for "hopping" with us today - and I hope that you all keep cool this summer!

Next on the hop is my friend, Stella MacKay - click below to see the awesome card she has created!
