Back To School Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop

It's hard to believe that it is back to school time - goodness, where did the summer go?

My project for "Back to School" is a little card and matching envelope that I created to put in my daughter's lunch next week on her first day of school!  Just a little love note - but hope it brightens her day!

Both card and envelope use the Amazing Birthday stamp set- and while this set is meant for birthdays, I thought the sentiments would be perfect for a first day of school!  I thought about using traditional primary school colors, but then decided to focus on some of our new In Colors.

Please check back tomorrow - I will have a short video on how I created my envelope, using our Envelope Punch Board.

Does your family have any traditions on the first day of school?  I would love to hear what your traditions are for the first day - please share with me by leaving a comment, or emailing me!

We always take pictures - and I always bake a big batch of chocolate chip cookies!  I have them ready and waiting when the girls come home from school on the first day.  This year, only one of my girls will get to enjoy them- my other three are all out of school and in the working world!  Miss them, but they are all happy and doing well, and that makes me happy too!

I have listed all of the supplies used in my project below - click on any image below and you will be taken to my online store.

The next stop on our blog hop is my friend, Stella MacKay.  Click on the image below to see what she has created for us today!

Thanks much for stopping by!  Enjoy the rest of the hop and enjoy your day!
